Municipal Income Tax Info

The Village of Lockbourne is a member of the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA). RITA is responsible for administering and collecting the village’s municipal income tax.

Income Tax Rate

  • Effective Jan. 1, 2026 the income tax for the Village of Lockbourne will increase to 2.5% of earned income.
  • For residents working in other municipalities, the Village will offer a credit of 1.5% (effective Jan.1, 2026) towards local income tax paid elsewhere.
