Public Notice!
The Village of Lockbourne Council recently adopted the following resolutions.
Ordinance 38-2026 to authorize the Village Administrator to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding
Summary: The ordinance authorizes the Village Administrator to enter into an MOU with Rediscover Lockbourne and any other volunteers seeking to establish the disc golf course in Locke Meadow Park
Resolution 39-2026 to recognize Stormwater Awareness Week the first week of October 2026
Summary: The resolution recognizes annual stormwater awareness week in Ohio in the first week of October 2026.
Ordinance 40-2026 to amend the Village Comprehensive Land Use Map
Summary: The ordinance updates the Village Comprehensive Land Use Map for properties within the Village area as upon recommendation of the Planning Commission.
Resolution 46-2026 authorizing the Village Administrator to prepare and submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) State Capital Improvement and / or Local Transportation Improvement Program(s) and to execute contracts as required and declaring an emergency
Summary: The resolution authorizes the Village Administrator to submit an application and execute contracts through Ohio Public Works Commission Grant Programs for Phase 2 of the repaving of the Village streets. The emergency being the necessity to meet the deadline of November 6th to submit all paperwork to OPWC.

Code Review Committee
The Village of Lockbourne Code Review Committee will hold meetings on Thursday, October 8, 2026, Thursday, October 15, 2026, Thursday, October 22, 2026, and Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lockbourne Historical Hall, 206 Vause Street, Lockbourne to discuss code enforcement process and policies. Public is welcome.
Planning Commission
The Village of Lockbourne Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, October 14th and the regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, October 21st. Both meetings will be held at 5:30 pm at the Municipal Building to discuss the Zoning Code. Public is welcome.
Parks and Recreation Committee
The Parks and Recreation Committee is working on upgrades to Boot Jack Square. Renderings are available at the Village Office for review.

Rickenbacker Memorial Wall
– Fly High Forever
A lasting tribute is coming to Lockbourne Veterans Park. The new granite Lockbourne / Rickenbacker Memorial Wall will honor the legacy of those who served at the historic Air Force base—including the Tuskegee Airmen, the WASPs, and other military trailblazers. This powerful monument will preserve their stories and inspire generations to come.
