The Village of Lockbourne is working closely with Rediscover Lockbourne and the Lockbourne Heritage Society to make our home a destination place that is looking forward into the future while staying connected to our roots. Below are some of the short-term projects we are working on:

• Renovating the Old School House, the 1st school in Hamilton Township

• Showcasing Ohio Erie locks and canals in conjunction with the Columbus Feeder

• A Lockbourne exhibit at the Rickenbacker Air force terminal

• Improving and connecting walking trails and bicycle paths around Lockbourne

Lockbourne has also been recognized as sustainable 2050 community by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission for our efforts in green sustainability. Our community has achieved the Silver designation, and our eye is on Gold!
